And now for the show! Restless Heart's the opening act |
The show began with the recently reunited Restless Heart of "When She Cries" fame.
They sang several of their older hits, plus some new ones. The guys in the band were great... it's good to see them back together again. Their new single is fantastic.

"You Better Turn Me Loose..." It's time for the main attraction |
Of course, the main attraction was Vince. When he took the stage, he didn't let go until well into the night. He started off singing one of his early songs, "Turn Me Loose," which got the crowd going.
Vince sang a total of 23 songs... and I was there, front and center, with camera in hand. From Vince's guitar solos, to his duet with his background singer Sonya Isaacs on "I Will Always Love You," to the final encore, he was simply fabulous.
This was my fifth VG concert, but the first where I had such great seats. I could almost reach out and touch him (yes, the thought did cross my mind!). He just keeps getting better and better... and that's my completely unbiased opinion.
He told some jokes, sang a lot of songs, and made a whole bunch of people very happy.
